International Carrier Business & A2P Messaging department is now looking for an Account Manager within Messaging area.

A2P is a central Tele2 Group function within International Voice, Roaming, & A2P department which is a part of Tele2 Group Shared Operations. The team deals with all commercial, business and product related aspects of Tele2 Group A2P Business and is acting as a hub and a clearing house for the group’s SMS traffic.

This is the job…

As the Account Manager you will be expected to be involved in all commercial activities – buying and selling of SMS routes and enterprise solutions for the Tele2 Group. It will be a cross-functional role and will involve supporting of the sales teams across Tele2 multiple regions and working closely with the Central Unit.

As the Account Manager you will be responsible of securing commercially, viable SMS agreements with Messaging Customers and Suppliers (MNOs, and other direct wholesale market players and A2P SMS aggregators). Assurance of technical implementation solutions and all quality related aspect will be part of your responsibility. You will be expected to build inventory of routes to fulfil A2P SMS market demand. You will engage in negotiations of rates for A2P SMS delivery to various destinations for different routing classes.

It is expected that you will generate growth within A2P area: volumes and profitability. You will proactively manage customer and supplier relationships. You will perform all aspects of the sales process. You will maintain and develop customer account plans for all assigned customers to leverage on target.

The role will involve international travels and you will report to the Head of International Carrier Business.

This is what you have…

* Degree in Business Administration, Economy, Technical Subjects or its equivalent

* Several years of hands on experience in the A2P SMS environment is a merit

* A curious mind, strong analytical skills, with problem solving capabilities

* Result and Solution oriented

* Knowledgeable in administration of commercial business (contract handling, understanding of revenue, profit, financial reporting)

* Market Features Knowledge

* English & Swedish Proficiency

* Computer Proficiency (Microsoft Office)

* In depth Excel

Essential skills and aptitudes

* Outstanding commercial and client management skills

* Strong negotiation skills
